Commissions
are site-specific. Once a client contacts me, I visit the setting
where the future mosaic will be placed. I gain a sense not only
of the function of the piece, but just as importantly, the client's
interests and preferences. Colors, patterns and style are noted.
I then return to my studio to begin the mosaic by collecting materials.
Sometimes,
the client will provide objects of personal significance, which
I will incorporate into the mosaic.
My
clients have an appreciation of my work, and give me the creative
liberty to surprise them with a unique mosaic piece.
